Engineered & Solid Hardwood

When trying to decide which flooring option is right for you and your home, there are many factors to consider.  If you've already narrowed down your choices to solid or engineered hardwood, you've already done the hard part.  You must understand the difference in solid and engineered hardwood flooring to pick which type will work best for you.

Solid hardwood flooring is 100% hardwood milled from individual boards of lumber. You can install it in most rooms. It can be a bit more expensive than engineered hardwood.

Engineered hardwood flooring gives you the beauty of real wood at a more affordable price. Often these flooring options are more versatile than real hardwood floor due to their cross-ply construction.  They can often be installed in areas not suitable for solid hardwood such as a basement or other humidity-prone areas.

All wood flooring is Lacey Act Compliant.
